Vale blue jug

Our blue electric jug just died. We loved that jug. We bought it on impulse because we just fell in love with the colour.
 
Of course, they don’t make blue ones any more. The nice young man who sold us a stainless steel replacement (boring, hard to clean) was sympathetic. ‘But’ he said – and I’m sure he thought this would cheer us up – ‘But, this year it’s all going to be black. All the kitchen appliances are going to be black.’
 
A black kitchen?? I can think of nothing I want less. I just want our lovely blue jug back.
