Sunset

A lovely sunset at the end of a day that was foggy in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon. Chilly again but I did sit outside for about 30 minutes after filling up the feeders and having watched Nicola Sturgeon announce the lastest Lockdown rules. It did not come as a surprise with the numbers going up as they are it’s best to act now rather than leave it. We are to stay at home until at least the end of January, with children learning remotely, 2 people from 2 households can still meet up outside and there is no restriction on exercise as long as it close to home. The Oxford vaccine is now being rolled out which is great news.
Boris made an address to the Country at 8 o’clock and despite stating clearly yesterday that schools are safe and will not close they are now closed until at least February half term in England. Stay at home was the main message and he pointed people to a website to find out the other rules , not everyone has a computer ! Hopefully the do’s and do not’s will be clearer today .
Luckily we’re quite happy to stay at home especially when January is not the best month weather wise and I would not want to take any risks :)
