Grassington
Went looking for proper snow today and headed up to Grassington lead mines. It was bitterly freezing but we trudged all the way up to the tall chimney and boys went tunneling. Snow was above my knee at the top and Hector had great fun diving in and out of it all. Had a little picnic on the way and took shelter in one of the old ruined buildings to eat some Jaffa Cakes. Great walk and always fun to walk on clean pristine snow leaving your footprints. On the way back home we stopped in Grassington and had the most amazing hot chocolate to warm up and a cheeky Rocky Road and Flapjack. Got home and fitted some 3d printed clips to the back of the pantry door before playing a few games before bed.
