Winter Aconites

While filling up the bird and squirrel feeders this morning I noticed that some of the Winter Aconites had appeared, so they are my blip today. I seem to remember that they were not in evidence last year. The side-by-side picture of the two temperature blankets will have to wait a day or two as I also saw some Snowdrops on one of the front borders. As these are my favourite flowers they will take precedence over the blankets.
 
I am not sure where all the end-of-year paperwork comes from, but I think this morning I have completed everything I needed to do.

The temperature today was three degrees Celsius at GMT noon; it also rained most of the day.
