Running

This was taken at Tingley Beach this afternoon. We started off our walk at the pond for radio controlled boats, which is also the most popular pond for ducks and geese. This is strange because the radio controlled boats are run by children and they aim them at birds. Mostly this results in the birds casually moving out of the way. This goose was being chased with an rc boat and was running across the water to get away. Now this goose could have gotten out of the water, flown off or just moved to another pond, but chose to run out of the way and settle back into the water.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, walks in the sun, geese that run, and fingers and toes on the baby and me.
