Flat clothes iron

With thanks to Chris Jepson for his Zoom webinar to our photographic society on lockdown lighting techniques, I have finally got round to having a go.  Not having any suitable flowers, I practiced on my grandmother's old flat clothes iron.  I remember this iron sitting on the range in her kitchen alongside an old copper kettle (which I'm sure you will see one day).  I'm sorry the casting on top is too indistinct to make out, but many years on the coals have taken their toll.
