Janus and I
Last night Boris announced Lockdown 3 for the whole of England (bringing us in line with the rest of the UK). Luckily we can retain our support bubble (consisting of F in my case) and that we can drive a short distance within our own area for exercise.
It has been cold but sunny and dry today so we went to the Old Racecourse for a walk. It's quite high up so there was still snow there and lots of mud!
F used my camera to take a photo of me by the Janus horse with it's two heads. Janus was the Roman god of beginnings and transitions and the month of January was named after him.
Oswestry's Janus horse is looking to England and to Wales and it seemed appropriate to photograph it in January looking from 2020 and to 2021. It's probably hoping for a better year too!
