Lapwings

On my search for salt this morning (2nd supermarket came up trumps) I paid a quick visit to the Heritage Park. Very few water birds around .... the usual Jacdaws and Magpies were hopping about but I was hoping to find something more interesting.

Sitting in a little group on the in the middle of the loch were a few lapwings. I had to use maximum zoom and then try and keep my feet and camera steady!

Another frosty start to the day but by the afternoon the temperature had reached 5°C but it felt much colder as it was really damp.
