These beautiful flowers are part of my retirement gift from work that should have arrived last Thursday (31st) but after initially being delivered to the wrong care home actually arrived yesterday.    They did look worse for wear due to lack of water but after a long drink overnight they have recovered remarkably well and have brought some vibrant colour to a miserable non stop rainy day..    
Not what you would expect from one of the best known undies retailers, (that also specialises in food and flowers!!) and they were most indignant when my boss lodged a complaint by email.  Shame she didn't commission Maddie to make up an arrangement for me.

I finally hung up my working hat today and I'm now looking forward to spending my days with Luna and relaxing, for the time being anyway.
