Late afternoon

We had a great walk this afternoon, stopped briefly with my niece to say hello and to congratulate her son and his fiancee on their recent engagement. They were engaged on Christmas eve 2020, we were engaged on Christmas eve 1980!
Our walk took us around the shore, our usual route with a little detour to see D., and the light was fading. The colour of the sky was reflected on the bay and the street lights were coming on.
Our lockdown has intensified, it's now illegal to leave home except for essential shopping or medical appointments, and we can only leave home to exercise once a day.
