Giddy Up, Horsey

I went downtown to the park before heading to the grocery store. The carousel was closed so I got a chance to spend some time taking pictures. I have decided that these horses are really creepy when viewed up close and personal. One of them had an angel coming out of the hind quarter. Who would think that would be pleasing to the eye? 

I took down the vibrance and saturation on this so you wouldn't get a blast of color. I will not look at a carousel in the same way ever again.

I am grateful I didn't notice this when I was growing up. This was my favorite ride at the fair. Tells you that I am not adventurous when it comes to heights and being whipped around.
