Blank canvas!
The long awaited, actually only about 10 days, arrival of my planner/journal, with the postie this afternoon. I ordered late, Christmas day in fact, as it took me a while to decide what sort I wanted and then found this one that you could personalise inside. I'm really pleased with the format and can't wait to get started.
It snowed again overnight; there's now about six inches on the ground and it has snowed on and off all day too. The postie managed to deliver but our Tesco driver couldn't get up the hill in his van, so we walked down the hill with the shopping trolley, interesting in the snow, and Barry hauled it back up. Luckily we are having a weekly delivery so we could manage it all in one go with a couple of bags too! Later another delivery driver couldn't make the hill. He offered to carry the package up so Barry met him half way to save him the worst of the incline. I feel that is a pretty good service above and beyond what was required of him. Thank you DHL.
Reg had another busy day in the garden. The snow is up to his belly the instant he goes down the steps! He is undeterred and bounds through it like a kangaroo and comes back in later covered in hanging icicles on his furry legs and beard. We give him a rub down to dry and warm him, a leg massage which he loves and the next time he hears us at the door, he's there ready to go again! He's sleeps well after dark!
I had another chat with my SIL who is in reasonably good spirits considering she can't get out to spend time with friends for a natter and a cuppa. We shared a few laughs and sorted a couple of problems so a good outcome.
Mum was a bit down as she hadn't been feeling 100% but hopefully tomorrow she will be feeling better. I always tell her to ring me if she's not feeling good, but she never does! Charlotte, her bubble is visiting tomorrow so she'll let me know how she really is and if I need to speak to the doctor.
Overall my day was good. Looking forward to a planning day tomorrow.
