Bright Day on The Royal Mile

Had a great start to the day-the sun was out and I had my new yoga class to attend.
Then my friend 'S' turned up to go for a walk.  It was a little icy to start with but once we got closer to the city centre the pavements had been gritted.  So this was our route- up to Bruntsfield, across Bruntsfield Links, over The Meadows, across George iv Bridge, up to The Castle Esplanade, down The Royal Mile, through Princess Street Gardens, through Rutland Square and back through Fountainbridge.  The city centre was totally sparkling.
