Last good day
Today was the last of this wonderful run of frosty and sunny days. We went down to Oban's beach at Ganavan after lunch for a walk and a paddle - in Daughter Two's case. With wellies on, I might add! The cloud had been gradually building up all day and there was a 'cloudburst' in both directions. The sun was sinking into a thick mass of cloud as the light gradually faded.
We clambered over the rocks at the far end of the beach as the footpath round to the next bay was a skating rink - surprising as it's only 50 yards from the sea. The car thermometer registered -4°C this morning - the coldest so far here this winter. My extra is of a family having fun on the ice.
Quote of the Day:
Paul McCartney -
“And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me.
Shine on until tomorrow
Let it be.”
