Blue Tit Bonanza

I've never been very successful at photographing Blue Tits ..... mostly they hide in the branches and then swoop so quickly to grab a seed that they just appear as a blur. Today I was determined, so sitting on a rather chilly stone at the side of the wee pond in Pollok I just kept clicking and hoping.

There were so many birds, mostly tits and robins, that if the stone hadn't been so chilly I would have sat on just watching as the wee birds found a good vantage point in the trees and then swooped. Three Robins in the same tree .... something I've never seen before.

I'll fill up my wee peanut/seed box and go back for another visit before this lovely cold weather comes to an end.
