Hard study
First of all, thanks for the kind words and reactions to yesterday's blip. That made my day!
As a blip, this is mainly a picture of my pal wee J, looking at some sort of fruit roll up, with cartoons, that his mum had given him as a treat to take to the park. As an encounter, it was more like an opportunity to catch up with his grandmother, IZ.
Inverleith Park was thronging with people, of course. Whilst IZ popped back to her car to buy a new parking ticket, I sat with wee J, as he sipped his hot chocolate from the ever busy Milk, and we enumerated all the different activities we could see taking place in front of us.Lots of football, children playing in the play park, happy dogs running around. You get the gist. It was certainly a bit chilly, and my rather rushed walk to the Park was at times a bit unsteady, with slippery pavements, etc. But it was great to catch up with IZ, within the limits of the current rules. She's extending her stay in Edinburgh until February, to help her daughter and husband, so perhaps we might catch up again before she goes.
Other than that, I managed to write a short snippet that needed doing. And now we're all watching with horror as white nationalist protestors occupy the Capitol in DC. If that had been black protestors, there would have been blood on the streets. Something needs sorting out, and Trump is an utter disgrace.
