Make ‘merica green again

This is not a recent picture but I couldn’t resist posting it given the crazy events happening across the pond! This was a weekend in Washington for a gay pride parade with my pal Jay. It was riotous and feels like another world!

In regular news our butane gas was delivered 3 days after it was meant to and we had to do lots of unsuccessful phone calls in Portuguese. Apparently the gas delivery men were very busy “too busy even to have lunch”, to which my helpful colleague said “my colleague hasn’t had gas for three days, she can’t even COOK lunch! Put them to the top of the list!” And the gas arrived. I must learn this language !
