Peaceful New Year

We went for a New Year walk around the reservoirs, which I've never been to before (about 4 miles away!). It was a beautiful day and there were lots of people about.
I don't know about the engineering of reservoirs but these pools were completely still, before the water passed over a weir into the main reservoirs. Fantastic reflections in the light.
