A mandarin keeping guard on Horns Road

I went for a walk late in the afternoon just as the sun began to poke through the low cloud cover. At the beginning of Horns Road between the Old and New cemeteries I took a few pictures across the valley. when I turned to carry on walking along the road  and up the valley, I suddenly noticed this.

The couple in my picture passed me as I had my camera out to take this picture, and said that this mandarin had been there for about a week. We presumed it was a work of art, which is quite a common place event hereabouts. I was rather amused by it and the little face looking out over The Heavens.
