Very old oak

This very old oak on a nearby hill is thought to be over 400 years old. A couple of years ago developers tried to get planning permission to build 120 houses in this field and the outlook for this  ancient tree was bleak. Thankfully the application went to appeal and after 3 of the most boring weeks of my life the planning inspector refused permission for the development. Hooray!
