Snow
I came across a sad scene in the supermarket car park this afternoon. When I arrived staff were holding up a large piece of tarpaulin round someone lying on the ground, so I assumed a customer had slipped on ice. Inside a member of staff said the customer had collapsed and another person had been doing chest compressions. An ambulance arrived and I thought, well that's OK. When I eventually worked my way round to the checkout, there were two ambulances and more people helping. Eventually the customer was taken in to an ambulance but it didn't drive away and the police arrived as well. There was a large clear plastic bag with the customer's jacket and possessions lying on the road, so I am wondering if the customer has died. It was a forlorn scene on a cold winter's day.
