Playful hoarding design!
L3 Day19 - Cycled round Richmond Park today and by the Sheen Gate I found this nice hoarding around a building site! Very impressed with whoever decided to do this...it would be nice if more building sites had nice images on their hoardings! The house in Fife Road sold for about £4million in 2014 and then again in 2020 for about £4.65 million. It seems the 5 bed house ( See extra) is not big enough for the present owners who are having a new wing added! There is a plaque by Sheen Gate which commemorates John Lewis who was a local brewer who secured public access to the Royal park in 1755 as previously the public had not been allowed entry. Although there were gates for carriages several ‘ladder stiles’ were put up so that people could get easy access by climbing over the walls 24/7 rather than have to get the gatekeepers to open the gates.
