Market day
I don't know why, but I love this picture. We're on a mission to rack up the miles this month. I got out for a (cold and icy) morning run, then after breakfast wrapped everyone up for a walk into town to the market. We should have been in 'school', but the best thing about home school is the ability to miss school and mix it up a bit. We talked all about winter, examined the ice, tried to break it, skid on it and fall over on it (the boys - not me....) Then it was a maths lesson in money, weights etc... at the market. Home just in time for an actual lesson with an actual teacher for the eldest (made it by a 2 minutes).
Puppy training this afternoon, which was really positive, albeit it rather cold, the car told me it was -1 and we were stood about for well over an hour.
Today I'm grateful for:
Helping the boys learn, we're doing ok and it's wonderful seeing them learn things and spending time listening to what they have to say.
Puppy training lesson - it gives me hope...
Fantastic response to a survey I put out yesterday for the masters and have sufficient data for the assignment I'm working on
