Linton Snake

We've been watching with interest the growth of the snake over the last few days.  I was first made aware of it in Ukulele Hayley's journal here.

I loved doing a bit of stone painting for the Linton rock craze  in 2018 here and here, but the painted stones once planted for someone to find disappeared.  (The aim really was that a photo would be posted on a Facebook group and that the stone would be re-hidden).  It had a brief revival with painted rainbow stones at the beginning of the first lockdown in 2020 but again the stones just disappeared.

With this great idea, children (or adults) can add their creations to the snake, which has become a place to walk to and admire in the village.  I do hope it lasts...
