Frosty Flowers

The sky was a beautiful blue for a while this morning but then the fog rolled in and there it stayed. Not the picturesque kind of shifting mists but, as I'd no plans to leave the house and garden, it didn't really matter. Instead I spent time sorting through a cupboard with Mum, discovering long-forgotten stuff, some of which dated back to my early childhood.... 

My blip is of a brave penstemon which dared to bloom in the frosty conditions.
