Stereotypes

Another day of lots of screens, calls and various school assignments. Followed by a walk in the beautiful, but VERY cold outdoors.

Was struck by the stereotypical boy and girl I am bringing up... the girl in her sequinned skirt decided to take an equally sequinned handbag for the walk. The boy took and sword and later picked up a stick. (Actually he requested I retrieve the stick from up a tree - which took climbing up to get it!)

Even stranger because I’m not sure I was ever seen in sequins as a girl - far more likely to be climbing a tree for a stick...
