Rubbish photo on a rubbish day

Cold, overcast, damp,, frosty, poor visibility later on.  Wouldn’t have wanted to to go out anyway.

The morning started (after coffee and an early Waitrose delivery) with a decision to change the EchoStar water saver on my kitchen tap. Recommended by the plumber, when we moved in, to stop the water splashing. It’s brilliant, but needs replacing every 2/3 years. .

We tried every which way.  Altho’ the same model the water drips from the valve. Not too bad but not ideal. After about two hours we gave up trying to sort. It’s better than the old one.

Was supposed to have a Whatsapp chat at 3 with friends, but one couldn’t make it as had to collect her grandchild. No problem and perfectly understandable, she’d warned that could happen. Just frustrating as rushed to make a sponge cake for Mr B before the call.

Otherwise paid some bills, watched endless news about last night’s shenanigans in Washington. And shall now go and watch some catch up in bed.
