Broad beans, budding rhubarb, Mrs Blackbird

Succeeded in leaving the house today - wahoo! The beautiful sunshine gave the day energy and indoors wasn't an option. Even my husband came to visit me briefly on the allotment, a rare treat - though foolishly without gloves.
Maintenance on bits and pieces, and re-shaping the plot this month after my first year seeing what came through and how it worked in the previous plot holder's layout. I have bought far far too many seeds despite only having a little yield from my seedlings last year.
I've decided to give growing flowers a try this year and enjoy the established fruits again instead of worrying about tiny cauliflowers. I love the planning, not so good at the keeping things happy once they are established :)
