Blue skies

On my permissable daily walk l went through Big Woods at a distance from my walking companion. The sky was a stunning blue with no clouds although still bitterly cold at 2° feels like -3°. I am told that the holes in the old tree are caused by woodpeckers although whether that is true or not l am not sure.
