Eye of a White

This morning we have had rain. Not a lot, but just enough to refresh a very sad garden.

Today I also got my water bill for the quarter. I wished I still drank whiskey, because I could have done with a tot to revive me after seeing the total.

As a result of the rain, not a lot is out there today, and what there is is sluggish and slow.

Which is a benefit, because I got this shot of the eye of a Cabbage White. I am kind of hoping that not too many people have seen such a close-up of the facial features of a Cabbage White.

Oh, what big eyes you have.
