On the floor

Went for a Blip wander at lunch with jrc313 and headed over to the church over the road. As we were stood there trying to figure out what photos to take we were spotted by what turned out to be the Rector. Anyway, he invited us in to have a nosey round the inside of the church which, other than for services, is usually locked.

Whilst I was the one that seemed to get collared once inside, jrc313 was free to wander and take shots 'unhindered' so I'm sure he'll put up an amazing photo as usual at some point later on. However, in between stories of major renovation works, how they moved the river to make room for more burial space and the general history of the church I put my camera down on the floor and managed to get this ground level shot (inspired by reading through Kevin Meredith's book 'Hot Shots' that arrived from Amazon yesterday!)
