Waiting for the Waxwings

Every so often, during long cold winters, waxwings come over to the UK from Scandinavia in an effort to ensure a supply of berries which are so important to their diet. And sometimes they will come as far west as Merseyside. Here in Liverpool, they will invariably go to these 3 cotoneaster trees which are round the corner from our house. I know about these trees, because they are so close to me, but how do the waxwings?

A big thank you to everyone who gave such positive feedback to my blip of yesterday. Definitely broken all my blip records!
