Well I've survived the first week back at work.  It's been hard going back to the routine again after the Christmas break.  

Another bright, cold day and there had been a further dusting of snow overnight so today's walk was one of the slippiest so far as the soft dusting hid some ice underneath in places.   We didn't go far but it was good to get out.  No sign of the herons along the burn - just a solitary duck.
