Prescription run using the old Micra, stacking logs, dog walk, all good.
Finally got some results together for the MonoMonday challenge which was to respond to this old blip. Thank you to everyone who took part. I've been blown away by the responses - didn't expect so many, and certainly not so many that were really moving, clever and funny. I've so enjoyed looking at them all and seeing how people interpreted and responded to the same image in many different ways. Needless to say it has be very hard choosing but here goes:
Hearts go to:
Howu - for making me really laugh out loud, goodness knows we all need a bit more of that just now.
youoregon1 - I was drawn to the way the footprints are about to disappear, a bit like time does
59 - I really liked how she puts herself in the position of the small shoe in relation to the bigger one using the tree
Kendallishere - for her photograph of a boot from a very special and poignant art project (I recommend checking out the links she gives to explain her blip)
Honeycombebeach - love her story and also the point she raises about how we so often are not in the moment with our children.
and honourable mentions go to:
davidc - for the photograph of the beautiful bit of wood
Anniebelle - for her photo of a swamphen and comparisons with humans rearing generation after generation
kipsie - just love the idea of feet selfies as way of remembering trips
Boomerang - using a frozen sundial as a metaphor for time
Tweedy - lovely words about feelings of nostalgia and poignant image
Book Badger - I really like this blip using photos of 3 generations amongst old stones to put into perspective our time on this planet.
Next MonoMonday's challenge is to respond to this old blip - remember you can choose any element of the image as inspiration for your photo.
