It was mercifully a whole degree above freezing this morning which actually made quite a difference. It also could have been my new jumper that Ma got me for Christmas, warmest thing I’ve ever owned.

After a few slow days at work, today was as mental and busy as we were expecting. I only had a 10 minute lunch, and it was only to wolf down a packet of Quavers and bottle of orange juice.

Ended up staying an extra hour, then chatted to Ma on my way home. Popped to pick up a parcel (new wine glasses), and this was waiting on the doorstep when I got home (my prize from Holly for winning a competition in our Christmas Zoom). Now I’m slumped on the sofa watching Matt cook me a risotto.
