Postman Pat's electric van drives Luna crazy as she never hears it and if not outdoors, no chance at all. So it was today as the barefoot trail running shoes recommended by Redflash the other day arrived from South America. Ordered on Wednesday, a public holiday, and in the Bavarian sticks Friday.

To be honest lots of things are delivered, even to us, next day as there is an Amazon warehouse not all that far away. Have though just heard they want to build one at Memmingen Airport just 10 km away. I hope the city council don't mess this up as they did IKEA.

The shoes are jolly comfortable and what they say they are - minimalist barefoot. You have great feeling or better still, in the house where I mainly tried mine due to the snow, you didn't notice them. You wouldn't walk over a lava stone volcanic field with them but anywhere relatively smooth.
