Bánh mì kẹp đậu hũ
It turns out my little pancake lens is good at food photography. I like the steam here. It's wood-smoked tofu fried with onions, coriander, italian chili peppers, soy sauce, ground ginger and lots of garlic.
I made a sandwich with it and a "baguette de tradition" which pretty much makes it a bánh mì kẹp đậu hũ. I used to search out good bánh mì in London for a while after my trip to Việt Nam in 2019, and would make things like this at home. Right now it makes no difference, but when restaurants open up again, I'll miss the Vietnamese restaurants in Shoreditch.
