Omnipresent
Willow, it seems, can be relied on for interest in all seasons, light conditions and weather. Just about the only thing around that still has some colour in this monochromatic world, the orange sprouts of new growth appear to be getting a head start on next season.
I was pleased to be able to show some texture in the snow with this image. I think that was down to being in the shadow of the tree (such as it was). I like the rough bark and mass of the tree, compared to the impermanence of the surrounding snow.
