Flit

A quiet morning at the desk, although a pesky headache wouldn’t shift despite starting early with some pills. Lovely to receive one of my Christmas presents from A&N...a happiness jar full of little suggestions for treats and happy thoughts with instructions to pull one out to read and act on when days are tough, and to add one on a good day for later use. How lovely.
After lunch and listening to the new government advice, with subsequent planning meeting, I decided I needed to get out and get some fresh air given how beautifully sunny and crisp it was (extra). Did a quick walk around Arthur’s Seat (no otter today) and it was a good lift but the headache still didn’t clear. Enjoyed listening to the start of a new book... Mayflies by Andrew O’Hagan.
Home and did some more work but then just had to give in and go to bed for a power nap which definitely helped. Leftovers supper and a quiet evening...
