I wanted to bake something special for the weekend so I baked something last night that had a time to cool and sit.
It's another Nigella Pear, Pistachio and Rose cake that was on my mind for some time.
I've kinda couldn't wait and had all the props and the set ready to photoshoot as soon as the sun rose giving me natural light.
I kinda of wanted to leave it quite moody as the sky outside and just focus on the colours.
It was the first time I made this kind of cake (flourless with loads of grind nuts) but I have to wait till everyone can sit at a table together.
