Survival

A heavy frost this morning mixed with early sunshine saw me out early in the garden looking for frosty images.  I was just about to shoot an image of frosted grasses when I spotted this hibernating ladybird nestled in the Purple Sage plant.  I hope it survives.  Long term forecast from the Met man is for a second Beast from the East.  We missed the first one as we were away in NZ so await the onslaught.
