Too much snow in the Pentlands
Today I opted for a run in the Pentlands. I chose to park at Threipmuir Reservoir so I could run on hills I've never been to before. The issue was that part of my run was along a ridge which only has a small trod and there was much more snow on the ground than I expected. I'm guessing there has been more snow in the Pentlands that hasn't reached the city.
I originally planned to visit the top of East Cairn hill (coincidently Crawford scaled it yesterday) and then run along this wall that continued NE but the snow drifts were very deep so I turned around and did a low level loop. I will be back once it's melted!
