Highlight of the day

A down day today. Got up, had several cups of tea, washed, cleaned teeth, looked out of the bathroom window at the back of the house and was surprised to see a few birds hopping around on the ground. Managed to snap one, a bluetit, on the dogwood. Made some cheese on toast and took it back to bed and read....traffic going up and down all day, where are they all going if we are meant to be in lockdown!! A long day, grey and cold and big discussions with G in Vietnam about the vaccination, whether to have it or not, and Covid in general and the effects it is having, and will have on the world.....Needless to say it leaves me feeling very unhappy and disturbed.:)  There might be some sunshine tomorrow.....
