The tide is high

Spent the day with B's uncle in his home village of Tickton, just outside Beverley.
It's impossible to imagine how he is managing to get through each day, but outwardly he is coping incredibly well with his loss.

We lunched at a local pub on the banks of the river - it's garden furniture has been submerged since the Autumn - the residents of these houseboats need a dinghy to reach land.
