Blue skies

What a glorious day! Although the thick frost put me off a swim. I spent the time ordering new gloves and a wet suit and making soup. Then off to meet my mum for a smashing walk round the golf course. As a non golfing, dog owner this is one of the lockdown positives. Ended up a slightly longer walk than perhaps we planned, there were complaints in the party about it being lunch time. Rosie chased a deer, found some squirrels and generally had a ball.

Home for a knitting, telly watching afternoon. Again, a winter positive. I would have felt I should have been doing something else productive in the summer.

Then I changed the bedding. Always a confusing time for the cat and dog. They watch awkwardly, wondering if I will be ever finished and they can resume their lying down. Lazy buggers.
