LETTING IT ALL...
...hang out!
In my teenage years my parents lived in a little village in rural France. At the back of their property was "la Mairie" (the Mayor's house). Renting a flat in la Mairie was a young Swiss woman who asked Monsieur le Maire to install a shower. His response was, "Why spend all that money on something you only use once a month?"
To tell the truth the "smellscape" was much more interesting in those days - deodorants hadn't been invented. In the Paris Metro you were assaulted by red wine, Gauloises, funky armpits & Chanel N° 5 - those were the days!!
Anyway this image reminds me of that time because whenever the sun shone people would hang their bedclothes out of the window to let the pong dissipate...
