Productive

Mr Mouse systematically broke 3 drawer handles and the fridge door handle over a number of years.

As the kitchen came with the house we had no idea where it was from and well we never really had the motivation to match the handles, especially as he would only manage to break them again.

But the remaining bit of handle was sharp and we have both managed to hurt ourselves in them so I figured it was probably time to replace them.

We don't like the kitchen so I was happy for cheap and functional.

I replaced them this morning. The rest of the day the tumble dryer and I have had an uneasy truce. It sort of makes an attempts at drying and after multiple restarts I think I might have found at least one setting that sort of works, mostly. So I am making a dent in the laundry mountian. I figure the extra cost of running it twice or even three times to get a load dry is worth it in terms of my sanity.

I also cleaned the dishwasher which had gone on strike. Turned out every nozzle on the whirly round things were blocked. Mr Mouse doesn't understand the dishwasher (its only been 9 years) and never thinks to clean it.

I have managed to actually sit down for an hour or so and do something for me.
