Snowdrops

Today I planned to spend the morning working on my assignment but I have been buggering messing about with my iPhone. I have discovered that emails to my gmail account come down on my computer and the iPhone. Those to my Virgin address are only coming down on the iPhone, unless it is turned off completely when they go to the computer. When I used a Blackberry all the emails from all my email addresses came down on it as well as on the computer.

Any thoughts anyone as to what the problem might be?

Today it is very cold and grey again and I had a choice of pink alpine cyclamen, collard doves or snowdrops; the snowdrop, with water droplets won!

Update: I think I have answered my own question, it seems that POP3 which is what Virgin uses is a problem, but IMAP for the gmail account is okay. As Virgin do not appear to use IMAP, which I understand is more expensive then I will have to rethink which one that I use as my personal box!
