Ice men ...

These icicles hanging from the railway bridge over the Esk give some indication of how cold it was on our 9 mile walk from the house today. We walked off-road to Fisherrow and then to the mouth of the Esk. We came home via QM University. We wore our “ice shoes” again as there were still many tricky frozen patches.

We had a fun video call with our Wiltshire grandchildren before we set off and a home school set up call with the Gloucestershire ones when we got home!

It’s going to be wetter and milder tomorrow I think?
