A Bonsai?

I have had this little tree in the same pot for two years. It is only 1 foot high. It isn't a bonsai, but I like to pretend it is. I don't know what it's called- is there a blipper out there who can name it? Should I re-pot it, or would that kill it?

I bought it in Ikea. Their indoor plants are wonderful.
